Americans overtreated to death?

This very moving article about end-of-life issues is a good read. As an estate planning attorney, I discuss these types of matters at length with my clients, partcularly when drafting their health care directives.

It is interesting to me to read this, as I would concur that the vast majority of my clients indicate a desire not to be left on life support for inordinate amounts of time.
